The EcoBoost engines are both paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and both hybrid engines utilize an electronic continuously variable transmission (eCVT). Front-wheel drive (FWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) are available on the EcoBoost engines and hybrid engine, but the plug-in hybrid engine is only available in FWD.
